Day registration – $695 (to attend the Conference on one nominated day only)

Workshops

Workshop places are only open to Conference delegates. Tickets can be purchased during the online registration process. Seminar only workshops are priced at $150; those with a tasting component are priced at $190. Details of the workshop program are available here.

Maurice O’Shea Award Dinner

Monday 25 July, 7-11.30pm, Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Free transport via tram from the Convention Centre is available. Tickets can be purchased during the online registration process at the special delegate only price of $199 (non-delegate price $247).

Additional guest tickets to the Networking Function

Tuesday 26 July, 6-7.30pm, Trade Exhibition Halls. Additional tickets are available for purchase during the online registration process. (One ticket is included in delegate’s registration fee. Additional guest tickets are $50)

Entitlements

The early, standard, student and discount registration fees for the 16th AWITC entitle delegates to the following:

  • entrance to all plenary sessions (workshop attendance is optional and at additional cost)
  • entrance to the Student Forum –  ‘In the wine light’
  • coffee breaks (on offer between Monday 25 July to Thursday 28 July)
  • lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • one ticket to the Networking Function on Tuesday 26 July, 6-7.30pm in the Trade Exhibition Halls (additional tickets can be purchased)
  • AWITC delegate backpack
  • access to the Conference App
  • access to the technical poster display (Sunday to Thursday)
  • access to the Australian Wine Industry Trade Exhibition 2016 (Monday to Wednesday)
  • Conference Proceedings distributed to delegates post-Conference

Day registration entitles the delegate to:

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

All prices quoted include a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). This tax is applicable to all delegates, irrespective of their domestic address.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations: Delegates must inform the Secretariat in writing (email [email protected]):

Conference registrations

On or before Friday, 15 April 2016 – A refund of registration fees, less a cancellation fee of $150
On or before Friday, 24 June 2016 – A refund of 50% of fees paid (Student registration – a $150 cancellation fee applies)
After Friday, 24 June 2016 – No refunds

Registered delegates who are unable to attend the Conference are welcome to nominate a substitute but must advise the Conference Secretariat in writing.

Refunds will be processed post-Conference.

Workshops

Any changes to delegates’ workshop selections will incur a $50 administration fee.
After Friday, 24 June 2016 – No changes or refunds

By registering for the 16th Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference, you consent to photography, audio recording and/or video recording being used by the organiser to promote future Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference and Trade Exhibition events.

The program information is correct at the time of writing; however the Conference organisers reserve the right to change the program without notice.

Use of your information

The organisers of the 16th Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference and Trade Exhibition will use the information provided to them on the registration form to facilitate attendance at the Conference of the person whose details are provided and also to provide this person with access to the Trade Exhibition.  The person’s name and affiliation will be made available to Conference delegates, the companies exhibiting at the Trade Exhibition and to the relevant Conference sponsors (unless you indicate otherwise on the registration form).  All information provided on the registration form will be retained on a database and the contact details used to provide information on future conference and trade exhibition events conducted under auspices of the Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference and Trade Exhibition.
